When a family has a safe, dry place to sleep, everything changes. Children can study safely. Parents  and Grandparents can protect their belongings and focus on work. Illness from damp floors and leaking roofs declines. A simple, sturdy home becomes the foundation for health, dignity, and opportunity.

The house pictured belongs to a widow, who was raising her three grandchildren on her own. The children’s parents moved to Thailand in search of employment, and left the kids with their grandmother. They were homeless. Thanks to generous donations we were able to build a house for the grandmother and her children.

A home isn’t just shelter—it’s a launchpad for a better future. These homes cost $5000 to build. Any donation big or small is appreciated.

Raise Cambodia is providing bicycles to children who have to travel long distances to attend school. For many children in poor rural communities, the journey is so difficult that it threatens their ability to keep learning.
